Obstetrics

Oh Baby, Baby!

The first few weeks of pregnancy can be exciting and overwhelming. Our practice offers compassionate support with trusted providers, setting you up for success. After your baby arrives, we provide postpartum care to help you adjust and feel like yourself again.

Preconceptual Counseling

A healthy pregnancy starts before conception. We help women of all ages optimize their health through family planning, immunization updates, and medication reviews to ensure pregnancy safety.

Early Pregnancy Management

Many obstetrics offices don’t schedule appointments until later in pregnancy, but we offer compassionate support during those first few uncertain weeks, including confirmation of pregnancy and an initial ultrasound.

Postpartum Care

After delivery, we support your transition to parenthood by ensuring healing, discussing birth control options, and offering lactation consultations to assist with breastfeeding and your baby’s care.

The Carolina Elite Approach

Here are just a few ways we offer compassionate support early in your pregnancy and postpartum:

Early Pregnancy Management

We confirm your pregnancy, help determine your due date, and arrange initial lab work. We also provide guidance on next steps for continuing prenatal care, with recommendations and referrals as needed.

Initial Ultrasounds

In those early weeks of pregnancy, nothing compares to the reassurance of seeing your baby for the first time. Our ultrasounds offer a comforting glimpse, whether it’s a tiny heartbeat or the surprise of more than one!

Lactation Services

Parenthood can feel uncertain, but our lactation services are here to offer the guidance and support you need. Our certified lactation team helps you bond with your baby, providing expert advice and care.
